This function returns a string containing the version number of the
Pointer Environment, or an empty string if this is not present.

**CROSS-REFERENCE**

:ref:`pinf-dlr` is exactly the same as
:ref:`qram-dlr`. :ref:`wman-dlr` and
:ref:`winf-dlr` contain the version number of the
Window Manager.
